William “Bill” Edward Wilburn, 68, of Junction City, Kentucky, passed away on August 14, 2025. Born on January 31, 1957, in Danville, Kentucky, to the late James “Tom” and Helen Sargent Wilburn. He dedicated over 52 years to his profession as a concrete finisher with Wilburn Brothers Concrete, where he was respected for his hard work and craftsmanship. He was predeceased by his parents, his first wife Cynthia Ellen Wilburn, his brother Jerry Allen Wilburn, and his sister Vonda Vonlinger.

Bill enjoyed fishing and hunting throughout his life. He treasured the moments spent with his grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter.

He is survived by his wife, Dianna Wilburn, his three children: Shanna (Danny) Colwell, Holly Wilburn, and William “Josh” (Angel) Wilburn. his step-mother, Edith Wilburn, his step-children, Michael (Ashlee) Sinkhorn and Mandy Sivis, his grandchildren, Samantha Daly, Kody Sacco, Ean Daly, Evan Daly, Kyler Ellswick, Eli Dunn, Cynthia Maria Wilburn, Clarissa Wilburn (Steven Cooper), Sara Dunn, Trinity Sinkhorn, Madelynn Sinkhorn, and Journi Sivis, his great-grandchildren, Jameson Saylor, Konnar West-Sacco, Atlas Cooper, Avery Ruggles, William Celestin Cooper, and Bailey Ruggles, his brothers James “PeeWee” (Margaret) Wilburn, Bobby Wilburn, and Marty (Charlotte) Wilburn; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City, with Rev. Jr. Fields officiating. Pallbearers will be Danny Colwell, Kody Sacco, Kyler Ellswick, Evan Daly, Ean Daly, Brendan Herbers, Rocky Arnold, Timmy Cummins, and Gregg Lunsford. Honorary pallbearers will be Eli Dunn, Jameson Saylor, Konnar West-Sacco, Atlas Cooper, Celestin Cooper, Cecil Neikirk, and Tommy Naylor. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery.

The visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City.

William Wilburn’s legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

  3. Billy Wilburn was one of a kind now…all of us that ran with Vonda in our much younger years….he always watched out for us. As we all growed up…he was still Billy Wilburn! He asked our son Michael Owen if I was his moma…lol he said yeah, they were buddy’s clear up to losing Michael.
