Wanda Marie Reeves Henson, 78, died October 27, 2021, in Danville, Kentucky. Born April 8, 1943, in Danville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Dollie Thelma Phillips and Bill Reeves. Wanda worked at Kroger as a grocery clerk for thirty-seven years. She was a member of First Christian Church in Junction City, Kentucky. She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Ben David Henson; their sons, Michael (Rene) Henson, James Henson, and Roger (Karen) Henson; seven grandchildren, Danielle (Lee) Short, Ashley (Dane) Boeglin, Kristi (Russell) Ball, Allison Henson, Ben (Madison Turney) Henson, Nathan Henson, and Abby Henson; and five great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Short, Eli Short, Hayden Short, Avery Henson, and River Henson. Public visitation will be held from 11 am to 1pm, Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Funeral service will be 1pm, Tuesday November 2, 2021, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Reverend Bill Boldt will officiate. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery.   1. So very sorry to get this news. I knew Wanda for many years from being a Kroger customer. We traveled many miles together as band parents helping to chaperone the band members all over Ky and even to Mexico. She and Ben were very instrumental in helping the Band be able to go to Mexico by starting the newspaper recycling program which we did for several years. She was a lot of fun to be with and a very nice lady. Please pass our condolences on to her family.

  2. Had the honor serving as an Associate Pastor for Ben,and Wanda Henson.. Great people, she will be sadly missed on earth, but greatly received in Heaven.
