Timothy “Tim” Ray Gill, died on March 24, 2024. He was born in Winchester on November 14, 1958, to the late Marlon and Mildred Gill. Tim was a 1976 graduate of Lincoln County High School where he played football and ran track. He was an avid runner for many years. He graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1980. Tim worked as an engineer technician for Inter-County Energy. Tim volunteered his time with Danville-Boyle Co. Parks and Rec. as a coach for Little League football, basketball, and baseball. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Danville. Tim was kind, gentle, patient, hardworking, and an adoring father and grandfather and a loving husband for 40 years.
Tim is survived by his wife Karen, children, Nicholas Gill and Chelsea (Travis) Burns, granddaughter, Norah Burns, sisters, Deborah Gill and Marla White, and a brother, Chris Gill.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2024, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Mathis officiating. The burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville.

I remember Tim as a gentle soul, kind and oh how much he loved his family and friends. My heart aches for your loss. He will always be remembered in my eyes as a great man.
So sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. He was a great guy and I loved working with him. I have just had surgery so won’t be able to come to service. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.
