Thomas "Tommy" Lee Harmon

Thomas Lee Harmon, beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025. Born on July 20, 1959, in Danville, Kentucky, to the late Carl T. Harmon and Peggy Harmon, and the late Ada Jean Lane Harmon. Tommy was a 1977 Boyle County High School graduate and a Junction City First Baptist Church member. In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his granddaughter Claire Harmon and his brothers Carl G. Harmon and Johnny Hurst.
Tommy was known for his warm spirit, unwavering determination, and his ability as a jack of all trades—always willing to lend a hand and share his skills with those in need.
Tommy devoted much of his life to his work as a truck driver, a mechanic, a metal worker, and a heavy equipment operator. He connected with countless people and never met a stranger. He was a dedicated member of the Junction City First Baptist Church, where he found community and solace.
He is survived by his sons, Bryan (Tara) Naylor, Adam (Whitney) Harmon, and Alex Harmon, the love of his life Barbara McKnight, his grandchildren Gage Naylor, Caleb Harmon, Olivia Harmon, Christian Davis, Hiedi Naylor, Tanner Harmon, Ava Naylor, Abigail Naylor, Jude Harmon, Maverick Darnell, and Houston Harmon, three sisters, Johanna (Warnie) King, Patty (Dwight) Coontz, and Kathy (Bryan) Carmen; two brothers, Byford (Sherri) Hurst, and Jeff (Penny) Hurst and sisters-in-law Mary Hurst and Rita Harmon. Thomas was deeply devoted to his family, and his love for them shone brightly in everything he did.
Family and friends will gather for visitation from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Junction City First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Junction City First Baptist Church with Rev. Choe Sargent officiating. The Pallbearers will be Bryan Naylor, Alex Harmon, Gage Naylor, Adam Harmon, Josh Hurst, Joey Hurst, and Brad Luttrell. Honorary pallbearers will be C. J. Lane, Mike Dunn, and Charles Land. The burial will be at Danville Memorial Gardens.

Tommy was great man and dear friend to me. I always enjoyed every moment of friendship he brought ino my life. I’m so sorry for the familys loss. I will miss our conversations, friendship and gatherings. This has left a void in all of us. I’m gonna miss ya buddy.
