Thomas McFarland Mattingly, 36, died Saturday, April 20, 2019. He was born in Lexington on June 12, 1982 to Vivian Maupin and the late Thomas Holmes Mattingly. Thomas was a 2000 graduate of West Jessamine High School. He worked as a sheet metal fabricator. Thomas was very generous and was a big hearted soul. In addition to his father, he is predeceased by a grandmother, Pearl Bennett; two uncles, Larry Bennett and Ralph Culp; his stepmother, Missy Mattingly.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Vivian (Roger) Maupin; a brother, Johnathan Dale Maupin; a sister, Tonya Campusano; a grandfather, John Bennett; aunts, Evelyn Culp, Norma (Ron) Dampier; uncle, Tom (Judy) Bennett; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews including, nephew, Dean Maupin.
The graveside service will be 12 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Bellevue Cemetery in Danville. The family will gather at 11 a.m. at Stith Funeral Home in Danville prior to service.

Tom, I don\’t have a high school memory that doesn\’t have you in it. You were my other half for nearly 4 years back in those times, and will forever hold a special place in my heart. May God wrap his arms around your family during this difficult time and may we all remember the amazing soul we now lay to rest. You will definitely be missed, but never forgotten. ❤️
