Thelma was my math teacher , she was a kind of teacher who taught me how to do math in Kentucky School for the deaf that where she taught. she always smile when she sees me and says she loves her students to help them learn and she enjoyed it so much. 7. Thelma always called me JD and I called her Temo. We had many long walks in the cemetery, and lots of laughs when we were team teaching. We didn’t see each other or talk much once I moved to London, but when we did it was just like old times. She was a very dear friend. She will truly be missed.

  8. I didn’t know Thelma but I visited her once in the hospital. I worship at the Church where she attended. I see by the loving comments , the kind helpful and loving person she was. I wish I had come to Danville sooner and got to know her. I know you will miss her.

  9. I will truly miss Thelma. We worked together but after we both retired we got together and talked. We had a lot of the same interest and we would discuss projects. All my memories are so good and that makes her being gone a little easier. Sarah and Steven, you will be in my prayers and will be thinking about you.

  10. Sarah and Steven, so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a jewel! May God give you comfort and peace at this most difficult time.

  11. A dear friend I worked with at KSD. I got my quilting frame from her many years ago. It was her sisters. I didn’t have a clue how to put a quilt on it to quilt, being the kind person she was, she came to my house and helped me get started. There’s been a quilt on it ever since. She will be missed. Prayers for her family
