Susan Rae Mills

Susan Rae Qualls Mills, 73, died June 8, 2021 in Danville. Born December 12, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Bryant Ray Qualls and Doris Kathryn Morrison. Susan was a 1966 graduate of Danville High School and earned her secretarial degree at Somerset Community College. Susan had a true zest for life and loved having a good time with her family. She enjoyed music, dancing, playing cards, spending time on the internet, chatting with friends and being the life of the party. Susan is predeceased by her daughter, Khristian “Khristi” Lee Stringer and a brother, Raymond Qualls. She is survived by her son, Michael “Mike” Shane Stringer; nine sisters, Barbara Mitchell, Audrey (Larry) Terry, Linda Finchum, Terry (Lonnie) Cornish, Jean Coffman, Patti Richardson, Donna Verhoeven, Tracey Lewis, and Carole Young; two brothers, Michael (Jan) Qualls and Patrick (Peggy) Qualls; two grandchildren, Jacie Ferrell and Jayla Ferrell; and two great-grandchildren Braxton Ferrell and Aleia Hinkle.
