Steven Eugene Douglas, 56, died Friday, February 28, 2020 in Acworth, Georgia. Born January 24, 1964 in Nurenburg, Germany, he was the son of Carolyn Sue Douglas of Junction City and the late Billy Joe Douglas. Steve enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, and spending time with his family. Steve’s personality was one of a kind. He had a heart of gold and always put others above himself. The light of his life was his son and beautiful granddaughters, Mayzie, Taylor, and Hailee. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Sue Douglas; his son, Christopher Kyle Douglas (Misty Spoonamore); three granddaughters, Mayzie Kaylynn Douglas, Taylor Elmore, and Hailee Elmore; two brothers, Mike Douglas and Shawn Douglas; three sisters, Teresa (Dale) Brown, Belinda Gaddis, and Lisa Douglas; and a close nephew, Brandon (Rebecca) Douglas. The funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Rev. Barry Harmon will officiate. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2020 prior to the service at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City.   9. Gonna miss talking to Steve in the random hours of the night. No matter what problem Americo was having he always answered and went above and beyond every time. Not sure anyone will ever be able to fill your shoes..

  11. Steve will be missed. He would always come by my office and stick his head in and tell me my Jeep wasn\’t dirty enough. My thoughts and prayers are with Steve\’s family.
