Richard Stan Hoskins Jr

Richard Stan Hoskins, Jr., 77, of Danville, KY died on August 4, 2019. Born August 10, 1941 in Wheelersburg, Ohio to the late Richard Stan Hoskins Sr. and Helen Dopps. Stan was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he served as a former deacon. He opened Danville Manor Barber Shop as owner and barber to the community for many years. Stan is a dedicated UK fan and loves all UK SEC games, swimming in the ocean and teaching his grandchildren to swim, hunting, fishing and frog gigging with his friends in his younger years. Stan is predeceased by two sisters. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Christine Hoskins; daughters Terri Hoskins Edwards of Danville, KY and Stella Hoskins Davis of Plant City, FL; grandchildren Megan (Brian) Ruth and Austin Davis; great-grandchildren Halee Ruth; and three sisters. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 pm at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice and Boyle Co. Humane Society.
