Richard Clelland Farris, Jr., 39, died on March 27, 2026. He was born in Lebanon on October 6, 1986, to the late Richard Farris, Sr. and Mary Ann Kondik Farris. Richard attended the First Apostolic Church where he was recently baptized. He loved being able to spend time with his daughter. He enjoyed watching movies with her, the scarier the better. Richard liked going to amusement parks and riding the roller coasters. He enjoyed cooking

Richard is survived by his daughter, Persayus Farris, sisters, Jessica Farris and Renee (Tony) Filiatreau, numerous extended family, and his beloved dog, Buddy Jr.

The funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City.  Pastor Wayne Naylor will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Mason Belcher, Wade Turner, Teddy Hargis, Rolando Stateman, William Sleet, and Donald Sleet.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Parksville Cemetery.
