Sorry for your loss. My late husband Herb Brock and Bud were great buddies at the Advocate for many years.
Buds and my families have been neighbors for many years, and he was always so fun and interesting to talk with! We will always remember his kind and wonderful personality. He always had a wave and a smile for all the neighbors!! He will be deeply missed in Streamland!Tom and Kay Berggren and family.
I greatly enjoyed working with Bud at the newspaper. Went fishing with him, too, and he tried very hard, with no sucess, to turn me into a bass fisherman. We had some fun times fishing at Herrington and Lake Cumberland. He was a great guy. Blessings to his family.
Rest easy my friend .
Bud was my co-worker at Centre for almost 15 years. We shared so many laughs and he told me stories of his time in the Marines. He loved his wife and family so much. We were planning to get coffee when this pandemic was over. My heart is broken to read of his passing.

So sorry to hear this. Bud was a fine man, we worked together at the newspaper. He was a joy to be around, he even imparted some of his great wisdom of fishing to me.

Love and miss you!
I worked with bud at Centre. I knew him as a proud marine and a patriotic American. Rest In Peace bud.
Bud was fun to work with at the newspaper, and I once rode with him in his bass boat during a fishing tournament I was covering for the paper. Bud delighted in seeing me grip anything I could get my hands on as we careened at full speed down the lake. We had lots of laughs over that trip! May he rest in peace.
Bud and I worked together at Buck Fitness Center on Centre College’s campus for several years. He was always such a friendly enjoyable person to spend time with. Such a nice family man, and an engaged community member. He will be missed.
