Remembering your family in pra
Sorry to hear of Nyla\’s passing. She was a sweet lady and I was glad to have the opportunity to work with her at KU. Rest in peace!
Nyla was such a wonderful, caring and compassionate sister, daughter, wife, mother, cousin and friend to so many. Nyla welcomed myself and our family members into her extended family. She and Marvin made our family feel like we had always been part of their family. Her travels to NY to visit with Richard & Lorna Wright were always such a great time with all sorts of family stories, family history and family laughter. She always made time to visit with us and to laugh with us. Most recently she shared the secret family recipe for her amazing Christmas Kentucky Burbon Balls . They were the talk of the town and a most awaited gift from Nyla. We made our first batch last Christmas and got her seal of approval. That meant so much to us. We all will miss her so much, but we shall never forget her. She never complained about all the physical trials she had to endure, because that was just her way. She was such a strong women with a beautiful smile and a kind soul. God has a special place for her. Marvin, The Rushford & Knopf Families send our deepest sympathy and want you to know how very special you are to all of us….God Bless you and the family.
