Michael Arnold

February 1, 1949 ~ June 18, 2025
Michael William Arnold, 76 of Perryville, KY passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025 with his loving family by his side. Mike is preceded in death by his devoted parents John (Jack) and Evelyn Arnold.
Mike is survived by his brother Alan Arnold and Hannah Morgan, his nieces Katie Palmer and husband Charlie Palmer, Libby Morgan and Colton McMahan, a great-nephew Stephen McMahan and great niece Marlie-Jean McMahan whom he adored, as well as his aunts Ann Hope and Arvoline Arnold. His cousins are David, Gary, Billy, Kenny, Angie, Joyce, Cindy, Tony, Jill, Becky, Judy, Joan, Pam, Kathy, Mark, Ernie, Beverly, Trina, and Sherry. Mike also leaves behind his most special friends and cousins Rex and Mona Whitlock, Dawn and David Hastings whom he loved dearly.
Mike was a graduate of Dupont Manual High School in Louisville, KY and attended the University of Kentucky and was a graduate of Sullivan Business College. Mike loved photography and took a great deal of pride in capturing special moments for his family and friends. Having been faced with much adversity at an early age, he did not allow this to define him, he allowed it to mold him into an infinite overcomer. He inspired many with his ability to overcome obstacles with dignity and grace, and he spent his life doing just that. He was a wonderful and loyal friend to everyone and lived his life setting an example of kindness, positivity and loyalty.
Though we are broken hearted to say goodbye to Mike, we rejoice and take great comfort in the knowledge that he has been made whole, he will walk, he will run and he will no longer suffer just as God has promised.
Visitation for Mike will be on the evening of June 24, 2025 from 5p-7p with funeral services being held on Wednesday June 25 at 1p both at the chapel of Stith Funeral Home in Junction City, Kentucky.
The family would like to express their gratitude and sincere appreciation to Dr. Brian Ellis for all the years he cared for Mike and to the staff at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center, and the staff a Heritage Hospice.

There are not enough words to express the sadness of Mike’s passing. A bright light when he was in the room, always asking about others and his thoughtfulness never ceased to amaze me. Always on the go and thinking of how he could do more for others, that was Mike. A reminder as well as an example of how we should always be. RIP , Dawn
