January 10, 1948 ~ May 4, 2026

Mary Louise Greene Dotson, 78, a beloved mother, grandmother “Mimi”, and
friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and
unwavering faith. Mary was born to the late Fred and Mary Ada Young Greene on
January 10, 1948, in Junction City. She was a lifelong member of Junction City
First Baptist church and a devoted Christian whose life reflected her deep love for
the Lord. Her faith guided her in all she did, shaping the kindness, grace, and
compassion she showed to others. She found comfort in God’s promises and lived
with a quiet strength that inspired those around her. Her heart was rooted deeply in
her family.

Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she poured her
love into every moment spent with them. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures,
she had a special love for flowers, and could often be found tending to her garden,
where her care and patience brought beauty to life. Her creativity shined through
her quilting and crocheting, with each stitch made with love. She also enjoyed
cooking and baking, playing cards with her family and friends, and most of all,
spending time with her grandchildren.

She dedicated many years of service to EMRMC Hospital, and later retired from
Inter-County Energy, where she continued to be known for her strong work ethic
and kind spirit. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Ray
Dotson, and her daughter, Mary Beth Beghtol, as well as, sister, Janice Marie
Ballinger, and brothers, Marcus Gene Greene, Carl Greene, James & Jay Greene.

She is survived by her son, Lester Dale (Melissa) Dotson, and daughter, Jaime
Anne (Larry) Kendrick, who carry forward her strength and love, as well as her
treasured grandchildren, Raechel Elizabeth Kendrick, James Colin Dotson,
Whitney Marie Beghtol, Jacob Ming-Han Kendrick, Mackenzie Shih-Yun
Kendrick, and Katie Ann Dotson, who were her greatest joy. Also surviving are
her brothers, Freddie (Lisa) Greene, Donnie (Helen) Greene, and Clyde Greene,
and sister-in-laws, Shirley Dotson, Ada Smith, and Loretta Edwards.

Her life was a beautiful reflection of faith, love, resilience, and devotion. Though
she will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace in the
presence of her Savior, reunited with those who went before her.
