Linda Ann Cassada

linda cassada
On May 7th we had to say goodbye to our son/brother, Mike.   2 months later we said goodbue to our daughter/sister, Linda.  We are saddened but they both knew where they were going and they are no longer suffering.  We rejoice that we know we will see them again restored, happy and healthy.  Mike passed on Derby Day. and it is fitting to say that he ran his race and crossed the finish line to receive his crown.  Linda passed on the Fourth of July and for those who knew and loved Linda, you will get that ....... she went out with a BANG!   Linda Ann Cassada, 61, died July 4, 2022. Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. What can I say? So many memories at Cumberland College. Always smiling or laughing. She was so fun to be with. Prayers for the family. Love to you all.

  2. God has called Ready and in the most perfect cheer voice ever Linda has answered OK! Rest In Peace Your memory will live on with your Cumberland Cheer Teammates and friends!

  3. I met Linda about 3 hours after I walked on campus at Cumberland. She was a very friendly girl that always lit up a room. I will always remember when a big bunch of us went to Danville to see Linda’s hometown. I am praying that the memories that her family and friends have of her will remain close to our hearts always.

  4. Linda was always so lively and fun to be with growing up with her at church. I especially enjoyed giving her rides back and forth to Cumberland. I am praying for God\’s peace and comfort for you all as she is in the presence of her Savior.

  5. Ann and family, My heart boke for you again when I learned of Linda\’s passing and especially so soon after Mike\’s. I knew Linda from DHS and from our families/parents being friends I got to know Linda better at Cumberland College. She was an enthusiastic cheerleader and such a fun person to be around on campus and in the dorm. A firecracker of a personality!

  6. Dear Ann and family, I\’m so sorry to learn of your loss (Facebook). Ann, you were a wonderful Christian teacher and friend to me in early years which I never forgot. I wanted to send you and your family my deepest sympathy and prayers for God\’s Comfort during this time.

  7. I learned of Linda’s passing last week and then over the weekend as I was organizing my dresser I came across her senior pictures. She wrote the dearest message to me on the back of the picture. We were college pals and she was definitely the Life of the Party. There was never a dull moment with Linda around . She was full of life and had such a charismatic personality!! My heart goes out to her momma and family!

  8. I am so sorry for the terrible loss of both Linda and Mike, I grew up in the same neighborhood, I lived on Henson avenue. I remember both of them as children as well as sherry and Leeann. I will be praying for all of you all, God bless and keep you. ❤️

  9. Dear Cassada Family – I regret I was unable to attend the services for Linda and Mike. I had COVID and was confined to home. I loved growing up with Linda and attending school, church, vacation Bible school and the multitude of youth activities with her after we moved here to Danville. So many sweet memories of sleepovers at your home and mine too. Please know I\’m keeping all of us fortunate to have known her in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. Praying God continues to flood us with those wonderful memories that bring peace and comfort.
