Guestbook

  1. Leroy was devoted to Nancy, a good friend, dedicated Christian, and Knight of Columbus.
He will be missed by many.

  2. Bill and Marla Harris Leroy was our neighbor. He was a beautiful friend a godly example you could be real with Leroy you could be yourself. He always loved deeply. That’s why we became friends cause we trusted each other could say anything you feel comfortable. He was truly an example of what a neighbor should be and friend miss him dearly already until we see each other again. Love you, Leroy.♥️

  3. I met Leroy through my Sister Marla and my brother in law Bill……. And even though our meeting was long distance through video chat I could tell right away that Leroy was an Old School Gentleman and a man of Faith…. I felt honored to chat with him again the day before he left us to go home to our Lord….. Fly high Leroy♥️

  4. Leroy was such a kind and caring person. He will be missed by so many, and I will miss seeing him in church or our chance meetings in Walmart. My prayers are with his family.

  5. Lee Roy was one of the nicest guys that I have ever met. We went to some of the boyle county away football games together.

  6. I only knew LeRoy just a few days but he brought so much joy to my life. He would tell me about how his wife would make cinnamon rolls to wake him up in the mornings. What a blessing it was to know him , even that short time. Rest

  7. Leroy was a Gentle, Kind & true Christian Man. He had unwavering
Faith, loved his Church & Parishioners, but mostly his undying
Love for his wife Nancy. If you needed prayer Leroy would
add you to his daily long Rosary list of names.
What a sweet Gentleman! I will deeply miss my friend, but his
journey on earth has ended and now in the house of
the Lord & reunited with his Loving Nancy.

  8. Lisa (Amy) Dean Millwood. Daughter of Mildred Schamal Dean, Leroy’s first cousin. My mom always spoke highly of Leroy. She always said what a kind hearted and nice man he was. I am, as well as my 4 siblings, very sorry for your loss. The family is in our thoughts and prayers. Much love to you all…

  9. Lee and Nancy were our very good friends when we lived in Grayslake, Illinois. Weekend games of double penocle with the four of us, often with babies dozing on blankets on the floor beside us, along with ‘help when needed’ among friends. Lee even helped my husband hand dig a waterline in to our Lake Superior cabin. Always helpful and caring, a wonderful example of how we all should be. Rest in Jesus, see you again one day.
