Kathy Goode

Kathy Ann Goode, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, at 51. She was born on March 20, 1974, in Danville, Kentucky, to the late James and Pamila Hubbard. Kathy spent her life nurturing her family and contributing to her community. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her grandson Anderson “Andy” Goode and a host of other close family members.

Kathy held an Associate’s Degree in accounting and was an office manager, contributing many years of service at Kerbaugh & Rodes.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Steve Goode. Together, they raised two sons, Corey (Chelsea) Goode and Jeremy (Ciena) Goode, who were the pride of her life. She adored her grandchildren, Aspen, Rance, and Prescott, and she is also survived by her brother James (Michaelena) Hubbard, her aunt Linda Wells, and Uncle Tim (Kathy) Montgomery. Kathy’s love for her family extended to her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and laughter.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City, with Rev. Jr. Fields officiating. A visitation will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Pallbearers will be Chris Hicks, Donnie Pass, Mike Coffman, David Chambers, Troy King, and Joey Goode. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Montgomery, Aspen Goode, Rance Goode, Prescott Goode, and the late Andy Goode. She will be buried in Parksville Cemetery with her family.

Her dedication to nurturing and supporting those around her exemplified her loyal and caring spirit.
