Joel Allen High, 57, died November 19th, 2020 in Hustonville. Born January 31, 1963 in Danville, Joel was the son of the late Jerry Elmer High and Elsie Lee Upton. He attended Boyle County High School, a member of the class of 1981, where he played football. He was a member of the Junction City Methodist Church. Joel loved to hunt and fish, his strong coffee and was the best cook. He cooked the best broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes, and brown sugar toast. Joel is survived by his wife Shanna High; three daughters, Caitlin (Seth) Eckert, Lindsay Morgan High, Samantha Daly; three sons, Joel (Alissa) High Jr., Ean Daly, and Evan Daly; five grandchildren Layken High, Eden High, Annabelle Eckert, Ameila Eckert, and Jameson Saylor; one brother Jerry (Penny) High; one sister Jayne High; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends. Pallbearers will be Billy Wilburn, Mike Russell, Jacob High, Tommy Crowe, Kody Sacco and Ean Daly. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Cox and Bobby Wilburn. Due to covid restrictions, the service will be private. Interment will be in Junction City Cemetery. Please sign the online guestbook or send a Hugs from Home.
