James Dewaine Hines

James Dewaine Hines, 95, died Tuesday, August 31, 2021. He was born in Somerset on June 5, 1926, to the late James Franklin and Angie Webb Hines. He retired, after 45 years as a Car Inspector, from Norfolk Southern. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by two brothers, Bob Hines, LeRoy Hines: one sister, Roberta Sadler. He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Euna Fugate Hines; his son, Tom Hines of Danville; two daughters, Kathy Sue Hines of Danville, Gloria Cofflett (Gary) of Louisville; his daughter in heart, Marlene Hines; seven grandchildren, Tara Newberry (Trampas), Trisha Tillett (Phillip), Nicholas Adams (Brittney), Megan Elsea (Jason), Scott Pierce, Jeff Pierce (Jennifer), Tony Sears (Ashley); thirteen great grandchildren, Trampas Lee, Hana (Jeremiah), Robert, Grace, Ashlyn, Elizabeth (John), Addison, Luke Thomas, Jake, Jensen, Austin, Chase, Aubrey; one great great grandchild, River; special friends, Jackie Raines, Lori Lynn, Mary Baker and Maggie Nickels.
