James W. Cocanougher

James “Billy” William Cocanougher, 84, died February 24, 2021 in Danville. He was born August 22, 1936 in Perryville, son of the late George Luther and Cornelia Lee Edwards Cocanougher. James worked at American Greetings as maintenance, he also was a construction worker. James could build anything. James was also a dedicated Kentucky basketball fan. Most of all he was a selfless man and would do anything for anyone in need. He is predeceased by his siblings Alice Alford, David Cocanougher, and Luther G. Cocanougher.
He is survived by his wife Anna Cocanougher; two daughters Terri Sexton and Stacey Lane; and three grandchildren, Cody Jarvis, Joshua Sexton, and Keri Jarvis.
