Hunter Miller

Hunter Scott Miller, 24, died suddenly on July 25, 2024, at the age of 24. He was born on April 4, 2000, to Ann R. Miller and the late L. Grant Miller in Frankfort, KY, Hunter was predeceased by his father and his grandparents Sharon & Bill Carmen, Robert Miller, and Faye & Doug Sudduth.
A 2018 Mercer County High School graduate, Hunter was known for his friendly nature, infectious laughter, and love of hunting, fishing, and kayaking. He loved his job as a Correctional Officer at Northpoint Training Center and enjoyed the moments spent with his friends, bringing laughter to all who knew him.
Hunter is survived by his mother Ann Miller (Billy Whalin), sister Victoria Miller, stepmother Heather Cocanougher, stepfamily who loved him as their own, and many co-workers and friends. His memory will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved him.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 1, 2024, at The Showroom, Lebanon Road with Chaplain Tommy Blackwell officiating. Visitation will be from 4 – 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at The Showroom. Bryce Hatchel, Miles Coffman, Caleb Morrison, Jacob Newsome, Aidan Brown, and Carter Elliott will be pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be his unit at Northpoint Training Center.

Worked with Hunter at the prison. We went to academy together and I considered him a friend. He was a great dude with an amazing sense of humor. He made time fun with him. Prayers for family and friends.
