Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Herbie was a great friend and wonderful person . I will miss all the good times that we had together. I will remember our many golf trips especially the ones to Florida. I will remember the day we started the Praying Colonels Golf Tournament with the idea that we could use the money to buy balls and maybe a shirt for the golf team . Thanks to Herbie , we got more than a sleeve of balls and a shirt . Keep your feet closer together so you don’t come from over the top . That was what I told him every time I watched him swing . RIP old buddy.

  2. I was fortunate to spend many years with Herbie doing golf tournaments. They don’t make them like that anymore. He will be greatly missed. Don Smith
