Sherwood Evans was a fine Christian gentleman, and a servant of God. He and his lovely wife Ermalene are some of the finest folks you could ever meet anywhere. He loved his family and was proud of them. We were blessed to be able to call them friends. He shall be missed by all who were ever touched by his life on this earth.

Thinking of you with prayers
Please accept our sincere sympathy. Sherwood was such an encourager to us through the years, whether at CRA or at White Oak as an elder. Loved his humor and his care! I still chuckle at the stories of his trip to India with Warren Smith! I am praying for God\’s comfort and strength for each of you. Love, Rick and Nancy
Ermalene and family, we still cherish the memories of your time at South Louisville. Much sympathy to all of you. Sherwood will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Deepest sympathy to family. I knew the family a long time. He was my preacher and baptized my sister and I together! Loved the entire family. Rest in peace with your eternal father.
