Eric Spencer Reed, 46, died Monday, January 6, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was born in Danville, Kentucky on September 12, 1973 to Charles Wilson Reed and Eugenia Mae Noel Weakley. Eric was a 1991 graduate of Boyle County High School and owner of Danville Foreign Cars. He loved his family. Eric raced Motocross and loved to cook-out. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Shug Yates; and his great-grandmother, ‘Mamaw’ Mildred Winfrey. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Dylan Spencer Reed; two daughters, Carmynn Elizabeth Reed, Kaitlynn Marie Reed; his wife, Melissa Pruitt Reed; one grandson, Kaige Spencer Reed; his grandmother, Vondalee Yates; one brother, Chuck (JoNell) Reed; an uncle, Jerry (Pam) Noel; one nephew, Greg Reed and two nieces, Erica Reed and Jessica Reed Howard. A Celebration of Life will be 5 pm, Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Memorial donations are suggested to the Eric Reed Fund in care of Stith Funeral Home.
