Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Mr. Purdom and Mark, Saying prayers for your family as you go through this difficult time. Mrs. Purdom had a beautiful smile! She was a lovely lady. Love to you all, Cindy Snowden Johnson

  2. A truly classy lady with a wonderful family. A life well lived. My sincere condolences to the family.

  3. I remember many things about Aunt Emmy Glo, but my some of my favorite memories are the Christmases she and Uncle Bud hosted for so many years. It was the one time each year the family all got together, and as a child, the enormous trees and extensive holiday dinners were positively magical. As an adult, I appreciate the hard work and preparation that made those holidays so special and I appreciate Emmy Glo’s gracious demeanor, intelligence, and thoughtfulness that were hallmark to her personality. She will be missed, but she is well-loved and will be well remembered.

  4. Buddy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Emmy Glo was my Sunday school teacher at Ashland Ave Baptist. I sat down front with her on Sunday Services. She was a real sweetheart. My prayers are with you. Patty

  5. Dear Mr. Purdom & Mark, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your dear mother. I remember Emmy Glo as a most kind and gracious lady. It\’s so hard to loose a loved one but she will always remain alive in the hearts and thoughts of those who have known and loved her. We were neighbors years ago when my family lived across the street from DHS while my sister & I attended DHS. Please accept my sincerest condolences Anna Maria Wilder
