Elizabeth “Libby” Ann Keeton Walker, 81, died on February 23, 2026. Libby was born on November 24, 1944, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late John and Christine Miller Richardson, and spent her life dedicated to her family and home as a loving homemaker. Elizabeth “Libby” was preceded in death by the father of her children William Lewis “Billy Keeton”, Jr. and her second husband Wallace Walker, her daughter Carolyn Keeton, her sister Sue Bockerstette, and her brothers William Richardson and Raymond Smalley.

She loved to sew and cook the most awesome fried chicken. Danville was her home and family was her everything.

Libby was known for her warm spirit, unwavering love for her family, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.

Libby is survived by her beloved children, Sherry (Mike) Brown, Tracy (Ralph) Burnside, William “Buddy” (Denise) Keeton, Scott (Kim) Keeton, her sister, Phyllis (Roger) Gibson, as well as stepdaughter Debbie Tyler. Libby was a proud grandmother to Krista (Paul) Thompson, Kate (Jeremy) Collins, Will (Rachel) Keeton IV, Noah (Katey) Keeton, Mandy Keeton, Abbey Keeton, and Keeton Burnside as well as a doting great-grandmother to Emory Thompson, Jake Thompson, Harper Grace Thompson, Avery Collins, Knox Keeton, Adalyn Keeton, Quinn Keeton, Elizabeth Keeton, and Evelyn Keeton.

The visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville with David Fralix officiating. Pallbearers will be Noah Keeton, Will Keeton, Keeton Burnside, Jeremy Collins, Matt Yeager, and Mike Matherly. Libby will be buried in Bellevue Cemetery with her husband Billy Keeton.

Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Morning Pointe for their love and care.

Sending lots of love hugs and prayers for all of the family…I can remember the early days of elementary and middle school spending the nights at the keeton house with my classmate sherry…seems just like yesterday that Libby was making us popcorn and goodies for our sleepover..prayers for sherry and all of her kids….🙏💕🙏
