My champion and my hero.
I am sorry to read about Dr. Baird’s passing… I remember Dr. Baird as a very kind and caring person. He removed my tonsils at my ripe old age of 21. I also used to play a lot of tennis with his son Jim, and Dr. Baird was very helpful as a Tennis dad helping out with both the boys and girls tennis teams from Danville high school in the early to mid 1970’s . I know that he will be missed by family and friends and that he was loved by many. My condolences to the family. God Bless him and God rest his soul. Rest In Peace, Dr. Baird ❤️
So sorry to read of Dr Baird’s passing. My deepest condolences to the entire family. He and Dr Sisk hired me for two summers when I was working on my BSN. He was a great teacher and would come and find me to show me something unusual. Mostly, he impressed me with his ability to show empathy and kindness to all his patients. A life lesson for me. May God’s perpetual light shine upon him.
My family loved Dr. Baird. He was such a caring person. He was such a sweet man that every Sunday morning after church he would come over and help my daddy get his feet in the car. Deepest sympathy to the family. Love and miss you Betty.
With Much Sympathy & Love
Our best to the Baird family. We appreciate their love and generosity. May God bless all.
Thoughts and prayers to all.
Semper Fi, Dr. Baird
So sorry to hear of Dr. Baird’s death. He was our family doctor for many years, and a fellow church member. His son Jim was a high school classmate. I remember how calm and reassuring Dr. Baird always was as a physician, and I will never forget his extraordinary kindness. I remember him letting me take a favorite stuffed toy into the operating room with me when I was five or six. Having that familiar toy to hold as I counted backward into the fog of anesthesia meant so much. A few years later, as I sat in the ER at McDowell Hospital with my freshly broken arm wrapped in a towel, biting my lip to keep from crying, I knew when I saw Dr. Baird arrive that everything would be all right—and it was. What a good, long life he had. Deepest sympathy to the family.
Dr. Baird was very kind to my grandmother and I. He treated both of us over the years. I recall him making a house call during a winter when my grandmother had pneumonia, at her home outside of Perryville. My deepest sympathy to his family in has passing. The memories he has left are such a gift to all of us.
My condolences to the family. Dr. Baird was a true gentleman and an inspiration to me. I truly consider it an honor to be have known him. What a legacy he leaves.
Dr. Baird was so good to me.
Deepest condolences to the Baird family. Dr Baird was a special doctor, friend and community leader. Allen has special memories of the days when he and Dr. Baird, Sam Dexter, and Austin Roberts played tennis most Sunday afternoons. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Dr Baird’s passing. What a kind and upright man! He was always such a quiet, soft-spoken gentleman and I appreciated his understanding diagnosis many times. he was always someone I looked up to as a deacon of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. He will be missed.
I was sorry to hear that Dr. Baird had passed. The world’s loss but heaven’s gain. I had the pleasure of spending lots of time with the Baird family during my high school years. Jim Baird was my best friend and also best man in my wedding. Dr Baird was always the guy taking care of the ADS football team when we got injured. Such fond memories of the entire family.
