  1. What does an older white man from KY have in common with a young black man from the inner city? As it turns out, a lot. Little did I know that when Don\’s life intersected with mine that it would have been so impactful to me and my family. While Don had a certain way of phrasing his life lessons that I may not use myself, I still use many of them to this day. Throughout my 25+ year career there have been few other influences on my life as impactful as Don. I thank him for taking the time to invest in me, thereby making me a better professional and ultimately a better man. To Ms. Emily, thank you for your years of sacrifice on behalf of Don\’s career. I know that there were many times that he spent more time working than with his true family. Please know that the time he spent was not in vain, we all benefitted from learning from Don and from being his friend. I pray that God\’s blessing continually resides with the Chambers family and that you will experience God\’s love everywhere you turn.

  2. To the Chambers family, I pass my sincerest condolences. Don was a great friend from our high school days. RIP my friend.

  3. Sorry I missed the service but didn\’t know about it until too late. Donnie Ray was my best friend during our early teens when we rode horses on the Fork. I will miss him!
