Dodie Mae Tincher

Dodie Mae Tincher, 77, formerly of Jackson County, Kentucky, died November 30, 2020. Born May 10, 1943 in Jackson County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late John and Edna Shepherd. Dodie was a graduate of Jackson County High School. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, and sewing clothes. Dodie loved God and read her bible all the time. In addition to her parents, Dodie was preceded in death by her late husband of 53 years, Dorsey Tincher.
She is survived by her son, Richard (G’nene) Tincher of Junction City; a daughter, Connie Tincher of Danville; five grandchildren, Lisa Tincher, Kim Fischer, Joe (Tara) Fischer, Chris (Katie) Fischer, Josh Fischer; nine great grandchildren, Alexus, Brooklyn, Jaren, Cayden, Colson, Josie, Addison Fischer, Bethany and Logan Polston; one great-great grandson, Colton Humfleet; two sisters, Maudie Gabbard of Lexington, Mary Lou Tankersley of Jackson County; two brothers, Lee Shepherd of Ohio, Ronnie Shepherd of Lawrenceburg and many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with the current pandemic regulations there will be a private family only service. Brother Wayne Gabbard will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joe Fischer, Chris Fischer, Chris Cross, Richard Tincher, Chad Tankersley and Wayne Gabbard. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
