Dee Dee Ransdell

DeeDee Williams Ransdell, 77, of Danville, died Tuesday, October 11, 2022. She was born July 12, 1945 in Danville to the late Ralph and Elizabeth Williams. DeeDee had a great love of her family, especially her grandchildren. She helped others in any way she could. She was a CASA volunteer in addition to being a member of the cemetery committee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ransdell, and her husband, Allen McKnight “Mack” Ransdell Jr. DeeDee is survived by a daughter, Beth Ann (John) Kohler of Lexington; a son, Keith (Tanya) Ransdell of Stamping Ground; eight grandchildren, Cory Lanham, Seth Ransdell, Brittney Ransdell, Shelby Ransdell, Chase Ransdell, Katelyn (Josh) Lyons, Christian Kohler, and Keagan Ransdell; a great-grandson, Benjamin Keller Lyons; and her sister, Carol (Larry) Robbins. The visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
