DeeDee Williams Ransdell, 77, of Danville, died Tuesday, October 11, 2022. She was born July 12, 1945 in Danville to the late Ralph and Elizabeth Williams. DeeDee had a great love of her family, especially her grandchildren. She helped others in any way she could. She was a CASA volunteer in addition to being a member of the cemetery committee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ransdell, and her husband, Allen McKnight “Mack” Ransdell Jr.
DeeDee is survived by a daughter, Beth Ann (John) Kohler of Lexington; a son, Keith (Tanya) Ransdell of Stamping Ground; eight grandchildren, Cory Lanham, Seth Ransdell, Brittney Ransdell, Shelby Ransdell, Chase Ransdell, Katelyn (Josh) Lyons, Christian Kohler, and Keagan Ransdell; a great-grandson, Benjamin Keller Lyons; and her sister, Carol (Larry) Robbins.
The visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
