Dale Harmon

June 13, 1963 ~ January 7, 2025
Harold Dale Harmon, 61, of Danville, died January 7, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. Dale was born on June 13, 1963, in Danville, Kentucky, to William Harold Harmon and the late Flo Reada Vonlinger Harmon. He was preceded in death by his mother, his brother William “Billy” Ray Harmon, and his granddaughter Makaylie Sapp. Dale was a cherished father, beloved son, grandfather, and devoted friend.
Dale was a skilled finish carpenter with Shepherd Construction, where he had worked for the last three years. His craftsmanship was only outshone by his warm personality; he was known for his endless smile, kindness, and ability to bring laughter to those around him. Before that, he spent a decade of his career at RR Donnelly, where he also made numerous friends. Dale was a member of Franklin Lodge #28 F & AM and the Oleika Shrine.
He is survived by his father, Harold Harmon, and his beloved daughter, Ashley (John) Robinson; his grandchildren Colin (Leah) Johnson, Kenadey Sapp, and Carson Sapp; his brother Aaron (Heather) Rogers; his nephew, William Sawyer Rogers, and so many friends that he loved and cherished. Dale took immense pride in his family and friends, and his love for them was evident in all aspects of his life.
A Celebration of Life with Masonic Service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Before the service, friends and family are invited to a visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Pallbearers will be Shepherd Construction Company and burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery with his brother.
In this time of grief, we remember Dale for the laughter he brought into our lives and the love he shared with those he held dear. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Millennium Park Tree Fund.

I am his aunt, but I’m only four years older than him. We played and had so much fun. I can’t begin to tell you how much we laughed.
As we got older, we moved in separate directions and would meet up occasionally, but he was still the same sweep little boy to me! I love you, Dale! Until we meet again!❤️😢
