Christopher Allen Herring, 40, died Sunday, October 4, 2020. He was born in Danville on December 13, 1979 to Barbara Sue Herring Mason and the late William Herring. Christopher was a 1997 graduate of Boyle County High School. He loved spending time with his son, Garrett. Chistopher never missed one of Garrett’s soccer games and always went to Garrett’s activities. He enjoyed going to Jackie Antle’s, working on cars and trucks, and trading and going to yard sales. In addition to his father, Christopher is predeceased by a sister, Guyla Simpson Carey. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Herring Mason; his fiance` and long time life partner, Kisha Conder; his son, Garrett Lee Weston Conder; three sisters, Cassie Herring, Diana George, Tonya Nestor; a brother, William Nelson “Wally” Herring; five nieces, Savannah Hodge, Heather Simpson, Amber Simpson, Kayla Mitchell, Joslyn Varnadore; five nephews, Matthew Simpson, John Phillip Herring, Warren Cox, Jr., Joshua Hernandez and Tyler Varnadore. The funeral service will be 2 pm, Thursday, Octber 8, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Rev. Bobby Tolson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Garrett Conder, Brian Montgomery, Ryan Manning, Chad Tate, David Tate, John Carrier, Shelly Campbell, Matthew Simpson, John Logan, Josh Franklin. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Carrier, Doug Adams and Tanner Carrier. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Junction City. Visitation will be 5 pm-8 pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City.
