Chad Curtsinger

Chad Everett Curtsinger, 49 of Bardstown, formerly of Boyle County, died on March 17, 2026. He was born on December 5, 1976, in Danville, Kentucky, to William and Henrietta Clarkson Curtsinger. Chad was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend who made a lasting impact on all who knew him. He attended Boyle County High School and was preceded in death by his grandparents Henry and Mamie Clarkson, Joe and Mary Curtsinger, and his cousins Eddie Curtsinger, Joey Curtsinger, and Levi Baker.
Chad had a deep passion for fishing, bow hunting, archery, and all things outdoors. He found joy in riding four-wheelers and frequenting the bait shop, where he often shared stories and laughter with friends. He was a man who thrived on activity and could never stand still. His love for music was another hallmark of his spirited personality.
He is survived by his parents, William and Henrietta Curtsinger; his children, Callie Curtsinger, Carsen Curtsinger, Carlie Curtsinger, and their mother Amber Rainey; his sister, Samantha (Blayne Hogue) Curtsinger; his brother, Michael (Corie) Curtsinger, his girlfriend Courtney Shelburne, his nieces and nephews Josie Curtsinger, Holdyn Hogue, Hayden Smith, and Rylea Hogue, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Chad was a devoted father and family man, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. He will be remembered for his adventurous soul and his warm heart, leaving an indelible mark on those who know him.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2026, at Perryville Community Church, Perryville. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2026, also at Perryville Community Church with Rev. Doug Lester officiating. Pallbearers will be Dustin Williams, Blayne Hogue, Evan Browning, Henry Clarkson, Johnny Worthington, Paul Curtsinger, and Jr. Worthington. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Curstinger, Hayden Smith, and Chad Pinkston. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery.
