Carson Layne Gastineau

Carson Layne Gastineau, infant son of Bobby Raymond Gastineau and the late Haley Nicole Stratton, died Saturday, September 22, 2018. He was born in Danville on November 9, 2017. In addition to his mother, he died with his unborn brother, Sawyer Cayne Gastineau and an aunt, Scarlett Ember Cloyd. He was predeceased by his great-grandparents, Norma Devine, Delbert Stratton and Buddy Turpin. He is survived by his father, Bobby Raymond Gastineau; his paternal grandparents, Durand and Peggy Lay; his maternal grandparents, Stacy and Eric Price and Lee and Jenny Stratton; three brothers, Bode Gastineau, Eli Hukle and Noah Stratton; a sister, Sarah Brown; great-grandparents, Lana Turpin and Kay and Travis Cloyd; aunts and uncles, Tina West, Mark Gastineau, Hunter Stratton, Marshall Stratton, Charity Stratton and a host of other relatives. The funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Rev. Paul Stratton will officiate. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luke West, Stephen Gastineau, Devin Adams, Marshall Stratton, Joey Turpin, Dustin McLemore and Tucker Huntsinger. Honorary pallbearers will be Shelby Casey, Marie Byrd, Cassie Ward and Zack Casey. Visitation will be after 4 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home, 506 W.
