Carlene Moore

Carlene Walker Moore, 92, died June 12, 2022. She was born in Boyle County on March 14, 1930, to the late Carl and Helen Walker. Carlene enjoyed cooking, sewing, and crafts such as basket weaving, quilting, making wreaths, crocheting, knitting and embroidery She was a member of the Lancaster Road Homemakers Club.  She loved nature, sunflowers and buttercups, and adored her family. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Robert S. Moore, brother, Edward Simms Walker, and grandson David Walker Suitor. Carlene is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jean (Jim) Moore Suitor; two sons, Steve (Cindy) Moore, and Joe (Celia) Moore; three grandchildren, Samuel Suitor, Sarah (Billy) Moore Rankin, and Robbie (Jaclyn) Moore; and four great-grandchildren, Walker Suitor, Johnny Rankin, Beau Moore, and Blake Moore; and sister, Jean Walker. Public visitation will be 11am to 1 pm, Thursday June 16, 2022, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville, with a funeral service to follow at 1pm.  Burial will be at Bellevue Cemetery in Danville. Pallbearers are Steve Moore, Billy Rankin, Robbie Moore, Sam Suitor, Walker Suitor, and Joe Moore.  Honorary Pallbearers are Johnny Rankin, Beau Moore, and Blake Moore.
