. Carin Sue Jimerson McLean, beloved mother, daughter, sister, friend, and teacher, 59, passed away on July 5, 2023, in Lexington, KY. She touched our lives in innumerable ways; and, she lives on in our hearts. Carin was born on February 25, 1964, in Bristol, Pennsylvania, to Mary Ann Head Jimerson and the late Edward Charles Jimerson. Carin grew up in Levittown, PA, and raised her family there. She also lived for a time in both Norfolk, Virginia, and Annville, PA. She moved to Danville, KY, in 2018 with her husband and son. She was a light everywhere she went and found friends in each new place because of her loving, caring nature. Carin was born to be a mother and was nurturing to everyone with whom she came in contact. She loved her own children, her \"adopted\" children, her grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews with all her heart. She was a teacher by training and a teacher at heart, as evidenced by the relationships she built with her students in the many schools in which she taught. She touched so many lives throughout her varied career. She was known for her love of crafting, her warm personality, and big heart. She attended PhilMont Christian Academy and Temple University, where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Carin is preceded in death by her husband William John \"Bill\" McLean and her father Edward Jimerson Along with her mother, Mary Ann and her grandmother Alma Bowers Head, Carin is survived by her children Jennifer McLean Cornine (Sean), Andrea McLean, John McLean, and the son of her heart, Kevin Wombacher. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Addyson Cornine, Tripp Cornine, and Alivia Gonzalez and by her siblings Joanne Jimerson McDade (Tim) and Edward Jimerson (Pam). There will be services in Danville, Kentucky on Thursday July 13. They will be held at Centenary Methodist Church at 11:00 with a reception to follow. Plans are being made for a service in Bucks County, PA. Interment will be private and held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA. Memorial service: 11a.m., Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Centenary United Methodist Church
