Beth Ann Brown, 61, died February 26, 2021. She was born August 27, 1959 in Danville, daughter of the late Roscoe Walker and Helen Victoria Freeman Brown. Beth worked at the Courthouse with the Boyle Circuit Clerk for many years. She was a dedicated member of Gethsemane Baptist Church, serving on multiple church committees. People knew her for her dedication and willingness to care for others. Beth loved to bake, work in the yard, garden and find a good deal no matter where she went. She loved to find a good antique for herself or a friend. Beth was also known for being crafty and doing decorative projects around the house. She is survived by her son, Joseph “Josh” Thomas of Danville; a brother, Ronnie (Brenda) Brown of Danville; two sisters, Sandra (Butch) Carey of Danville and Lynn (Billy) Lowry of Danville; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Hillary Jane. A funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Payton and Rev. Kyle Stachewicz will officiate. The service will be live streamed on our Stith Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 2, 2021 and Wednesday 11 a.m. -  1 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Memorial donations are suggested to Gethsemane Baptist Church or Heritage Hospice.   1. We are so sad to hear that Beth has passed. Beth was always the lifeline to any Danville family news to our family here in Florida, so I will miss her so much. She was a strong Christian and no doubt she is in the arms of her momma and daddy right this very minute after being greeted by her heavenly father.   4. Beth was a very special person and a good friend. Loved seeing her every Saturday at Blue Bird Market and at church on Sunday. God be with her family. Beth has gone to be with Jesus.

  6. I met Beth when we were “roomies” at the cancer center in January. We instantly connected with church, friends & memories that went back over 40 years. We didn’t even know each other, but we sure did when we left. Became Facebook friends & shared helpful hints on food etc. to get us on the recovery road. It was a short friendship that I will treasure.
