I’ve lost my brother in law and a best friend. There was never a day I didn’t feel loved by Hop and I made sure he knew how much I loved him. His smile and laughter filled so many of my days through the decades. I’m grateful for the recent days we talked and spent time together. He promised he would see me at my transplant 20th anniversary celebration and he was there. I’m so sad. I wish I could have seen the heavenly reunion with his brothers and sisters, especially between him and Johnny.
