I remember when he was born and came home from the hospital. An uncle went with my dad and me to pick him and mom up. Uncle Roy's job was to hold the baby on the drive home--we didn't have car seats in those days. As I watched Uncle Roy peep into the blankets several times and make cute baby comments, I sure thought we had a winner. And we did! I was his 9 year old sister at that time and enjoyed loving him for nearly 70 years. How sad to see him go!
