Jared Tyler Howard is a dedicated Advanced Planning Specialist, Licensed Funeral Director, and Embalmer at Stith Funeral Home, where he brings compassionate approaches and expert guidance to every family served. With a career grounded in both the technical and emotional aspects of funeral service, Jared is committed to helping individuals and families navigate end-of-life planning with confidence, clarity, and care. Jared joined Stith Funeral Home in 2025, bringing with him several years of industry experience. He possesses extensive expertise in pre-need planning, funeral directing, and embalming. As an Advanced Planning Specialist, he works closely with families to create thoughtful, personalized plans that reflect individual values, wishes, and cultural traditions—well in advance of need. His approach empowers families to make informed decisions, easing emotional and financial burdens later on. In addition to pre-planning services, Jared is a licensed embalmer with extensive technical expertise in respectful, dignified preparation and presentation of loved ones. His attention to detail and deep respect for the deceased ensures that every life is honored with the utmost care. Jared has been apart of the surrounding area for his entire life. Graduating from Lincoln County High School in 2016. Jared participates regularly at Southland Christian Church, where he actively contributes to both the community and local support initiatives. Jared holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications from Midway University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Funeral Management from Mid-America College of Funeral Service. In addition, Jared is licensed in Life, Health, Property, and Casualty insurance, allowing him to offer comprehensive financial solutions to families. Combining expertise in funeral services and insurance, Jared is dedicated to providing compassionate, informed guidance to families at every step. Jared’s dedication to service extends beyond his professional responsibilities at Stith Funeral Home. He is actively involved in the community, frequently coaching soccer teams and inspiring young athletes through mentorship and encouragement. An avid outdoors enthusiast, Jared finds relaxation and rejuvenation in hiking, exploring local trails, and spending quality time in nature with his dog, Rudy. Jared is also an avid University of Kentucky fan and can be found in front of the TV supporting both football and basketball.
