Ian Funkhouser

Ian Funkhouser joined Stith Funeral Home in 2025 and serves as Office Administrator in Danville. He enjoys finding meaningful ways to personalize each family’s experience, often thinking creatively to ensure every service reflects the life being honored. For Ian, it is important that each family feels supported in a way that is unique to them.

A lifelong resident of Danville, Ian values the diversity and genuine care found within the community. He appreciates how people from many different backgrounds come together to support one another, creating a strong and welcoming environment.

Ian studied Anthropology during his undergraduate education, which shaped his appreciation for different cultures and traditions. This perspective allows him to approach each service with flexibility, respect, and a deeper understanding of what matters most to the families he serves.

Outside of work, Ian enjoys exploring new experiences while also appreciating the simple moments of everyday life. He attends local events around Danville and Centre College and has a strong interest in astronomy.
