Zane Young

Zane Thomas Wyatt Young, 21, died November 1, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. He was born December 16, 1998, son of Barry and Lisa Young. Zane was a 2018 graduate of Boyle County High School. He was a starting offensive lineman on the 2017 Boyle County State Champion Football team. He attended Eastern Kentucky University and worked at Blanton’s Cleaning Service. Zane loved to spend his time hiking and playing video games. He treasured family and friends. His smile and laugh were so contagious. He is predeceased by his grandparents Cartina Perros Young, Charles Thomas Young, and Ollis Hardwick. Survivors include his parents, Lisa Hardwick Young and Barry Len Young; a sister Brittnee (Matt) Angle; his grandmother, Hester Hardwick; an aunt Kathleen May; one great aunt Theresa Perros; two cousins; Brian (Beth) May, parents of Clarice and Julie (Chris) Ryan, parents of Morgan; and his dog, Morty. The funeral service will be 6 pm, Friday, November 6, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Brother Pennick and Mike Perros will officiate the service. Visitation will be prior to the service from 3 to 6 pm, Friday, November 6, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville.
