Wilmagene Robinson Shannon, 90, passed away June 10, 2018 in Lexington, KY.  She was born December 3, 1927 to the late Laurence and Hazel Robinson in Madison County, KY and lived the majority of her life in Danville.  Wilmagene was a 1945 graduate of Danville High School.  She was a retired bookkeeper from Parks Belk and Greenleaf Furniture.   She was a member of the First Chirstian Church, the Kentucky Belles and Barborsan Quartet. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Shannon; a brother, Wendell Robinson; a sister, Connie Rankin and son-in-law, Mike Damron. She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Allan) Elliott, Cindy Damron; a son, Steve (Sara) Shannon; six grandchildren, Leigh Gaines, Cat Fizzell, Susan Gaines, Meg (Brandon) Durbeck, Benjamin (Rebecca) Gaines, III, Bill Shannon;  and five great-grandchildren, Olivia Missner, Alexandria Silva, Lauren Fugate, Madison Durbeck and Wyatt Durbeck.   She also had a special love for Cindy\'s dog, Sadie. There will be a private service at Bellevue Cemetery in Danville.  Rev. Joey Pusateri will officiate.  Memorial donations are suggested to Bluegrass Care Navigators (Hospice).       Private Services

I know when I lost my Mom in April I was so blessed to have my family with me. I hope you find strength in your family. Love you
