William Junior Lister

William Lister Jr., died Jan. 13, 2017. Born April 1, 1925, he was the son of William and Girtha Plumber Lister. He was a member of the Junction City First Baptist Church. Junior was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Sears Lister, two sisters, Hazel Lister and Geneva Lister and two brothers, Floyd Lister and Melvin Lister. William is survived by his best friend, J.B. Lamb and several nieces and nephews, including Kathy Lister Caldwell, Lee (Angie) Lister, Rita Brown Lister, Connie Lister Williams, Matthew (Stacy) Lister and Beverly Lister. The funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
