William Lear Foxworth

William Paul Lear Foxworth, 75, died Sunday, October 1, 2023. He was born in Berea, Kentucky on April 7, 1948. William served several years in the United States Navy. He was a Navy Seabee and served in Vietnam. His honors include the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (One Bronze Star), Fleet Marine Combat Operations Insignia and Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device.
Later, William worked as a truck driver, diesel mechanic as well as a heavy equipment operator for many years. In his leisure time, he found enjoyment in hunting.
William is survived by his only son, William Thomas Foxworth; siblings, Johnny Lear, Homer Edward “Eddie” Lear, Joe Clinton Lear, Thelma Louise Thacker, Mary Ann Lear Barnett; grandchildren, Jonathon Foxworth, Josh Foxworth, Dakota Foxworth and Luke Foxworth; and great-grandchildren, Aubree, Cohen, Rex, Fletcher, Charlotte, John and Joshua Jr.
The visitation will be from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., Wednesday, October 11, at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 12, also at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Burial will follow the funeral service at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

Service: 11am, Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City.
