William Johnson Doom passed away on October 12, 2025, at the tender age of 9. Born on November 11, 2015, William brought joy and laughter to his family, where he will be fondly remembered for his infectious and adventurous spirit. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Carol Doom, and his maternal grandfather, T. J. Johnson.

William was a remarkable young boy with an unquenchable love for trains, an avid builder with Legos, and a devoted friend to an array of stuffed animals. His playful nature endeared him to everyone around him.

He is survived by his loving parents, Richie and Virginia Doom, his grandfather Robert Doom, his aunt Jamie (Rusty) Anderson, and his great-aunt Vicki (David) Brown. William’s short but vibrant life was filled with light and warmth, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of his family and friends.

Visitation will be 3 – 6 p.m., Monday, October 20, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church prior to the funeral.

Funeral services for William will be 6 p.m., Monday, October 20, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Delaney and Rev. Brent Rowe. Pallbearers will be Travis Fugate, Brian Adams, Scott Releford, Jeremy Ellis, Mike Evans, and Eric Bast.

Honorary pallbearers will be Carter Newman, Lincoln Hanson, Trent Nation, Drew Burkhart, Kristian Rector, Tyler Hardin, Matthew Ellis, and Edna L. Toliver, classmates
