William Michael Carroll
August 15, 1948 ~ March 14, 2019
Bill “Red Dog” Carroll, 70, of Harrodsburg passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019. He was born August 15, 1948 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Clyde “Dink” and Ruth Carroll. He was a decorated Vietnam veteran and the recipient of a Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal. Bill was a lifetime member of the DAV. He enjoyed his last years at Camp Carroll on Herrington Lake with his dogs and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis and Bob Carroll and a grandson, Cash Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Carroll; two sons, Nathan (Kennetha) Johnson, Mitch Carroll; four grandchildren, Bop, Zy, Dude and Roman; nieces and nephews, John Carroll, Kelly Wala and Corey Carroll.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Camp Nelson Nation Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Herrington Lake Conservation League, P.O. Box 404, Burgin, KY 40310.

Bill and I grew up together in Jonesboro, Indiana and went all through School together. We had older brothers that ran around together. Bill and I were always in trouble with his Dad for one thing or another. The class of Mississinewa High School of 1966 Salutes you William Michael Carroll , rest High in Heaven dear friend
