William Alfred Wilson, 90 of Danville, died on January 1, 2024. Born on October 23, 1933, in Boyle County, KY to the late Martin and Eva Wilson. A hardworking individual, Alfred pursued a successful career as a salesman in the oil refinery industry, leaving a significant impact on those he encountered. With his friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge, he forged lasting relationships with clients and colleagues throughout his professional journey. However, it was William\'s dedication to Christ, his family, and his church that truly defined his character. As an esteemed member of Hedgeville Baptist Church, he served as a Deacon for numerous years, tirelessly devoting his time and energy to furthering the church\'s mission. His passion for spreading the message of love, compassion, and unity will be forever remembered by the congregation he held dear.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Wilson, and his siblings Eula Milam, Raymond Wilson, Betty Naylor, Mary Naylor, Jim Wilson, Jesse Wilson, Bob Wilson, Alma Rothwell, and Ann Senn. Alfred is survived by his children, Sandy (Paul) Bohman, Terry (Debbie) Wilson, and Mike (Dodi) Wilson, his grandchildren Amy (John) Rigsby, Beth Ann Bohman, Ben Bohman, Ethan (Kaitlyn) Wilson, Hagan (Brianne) Wilson, Corey (Emily) Wilson, and Christian (Kayley) Wilson, and great-grandchildren, Jackson Rigsby, Braeden Rigsby, Madelyn Rigsby, Maren Anne Bohman, Alyssa Bohman, Eli Crabtree, Hudson Wilson, Wren Wilson, and expecting another great-grandchild in March and his brother-in-law Kenny Rothwell, and sister-in-law Dot Wilson. Visitation will be 4 - 6 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Hedgeville Baptist Church. The funeral service will take place the following day, January 10, 2024, at 1 pm, also at Hedgeville Baptist Church. Rev. Jonathan Grizzell will officiate. The pallbearers will be Ben Bohman, Christian Wilson, Ethan Wilson, Hagan Wilson, Jackson Rigsby, and Braeden Rigsby. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Lair, Archie Curtis, Everett Stafford, Johnny Sheene, and Ernie Stanley.  The burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
