Vicki L. Wade, 66, died Tuesday, September 25, 2018. She was born in Madison Heights, MI on December 21, 1951 to Juanita Winston Edwards and the late Clayton Edwards. Vicki attended Mitchellsburg Methodist. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. In addition to her father, she is predeceased by a brother Joey Edwards.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Juanita and Bruce Hamilton of Madison Heights, MI; her husband, Steve Wade of Stanford, KY; two sons, Kevin Wade of Stanford, KY and Joey Wade of Moreland, KY; a daughter, Jeanette Coomer of Somerset, KY; a step-son, Brian Wade of Moreland, KY; a brother, Denny (Donna) Edwards of Madison Heights, MI; five grandchildren, Kyra Wade, Emma Wade, Landen Wade, Tyler Wade, Olivia Coomer; two step-grandchildren, Kody Wade, Greg Wade and great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service 1 p.m., Friday, September 28, 2018 at Parksville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Denny Edwards, Steve Wade, Kevin Wade, Joey Wade, Tyler Wade, Landen Wade and Tim Mounce.

So many memories. Vicki is my cousin, but more than that… we were so close at one time – growing up near one another, later watching our kids grow up – piling into her little VW (the heat was always on) and going to yard sales. Good-bye old friend, rest in the covert of His wings.
Our hearts and love goes out to the Edwards family praying for strength and peace during these difficult times. Until we all meet again in that beautiful home in heaven.
