Thomas "Tommy" R. Lee, Jr.

Thomas Robert Lee Jr., 93, died surrounded by his family on December 26, 2023. He was born on August 29, 1930, in Montgomery County, Kentucky, to the late Thomas R. and Louise McIlvain Lee, Sr,. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Kenneth Lee, Carolyn Lee, David Lee, Sr., Betty Ann Lee, and Raymond Lee.

Tommy was a humble farmer by profession and took great pride in his work. He valued hard work, dedication, and commitment — qualities that he instilled in his own family. He was known for his kind and generous heart, always putting his family first.  He adored his grandchildren and cherished the time spent with them, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.

He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Nelda Keath Lee and a loving father to his daughter Lesli Lee (Bruce) Petrie, his grandchildren Elysse Clare Petrie and Colson Lee Petrie, his sister Ailene Lee (Tom) Ginter, his sister-in-law Rosemary Lee and several nieces and nephews.

His legacy will live on through the love and values he imparted to his family.

A memorial service to honor his life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, June 30th at Grassy Lick Methodist Church near Mt. Sterling.
